Air intake systems for the façade are essential for effective smoke and heat exhaust (SHEV) in the event of a fire. This is the only way for the physical principle of thermal flow to work successfully. Every SHEV system requires an air intake system in the façade through which fresh air flows near the ground to effectively discharge the smoke gases upwards.
JET provides several options for the fresh air intake: the JET surface louvre with horizontal louvres and the JET air intake flaps for profiled sheet metal façade. These are controlled either electrically or pneumatically, and pneumatically or electro-pneumatically. Both systems can alsobe very easily optically adapted to your building project – e.g. with coating in the RAL colour of your choice.
